Join fiber artist Sue Miller for an afternoon of creativity, learning the art of basket weaving! This is a guided, hands-on, beginner friendly class where you’ll learn how to make a basket or trivet from recycled fabric. This technique involves wrapping cotton cording with strips of fabric and stitching it together using a needle and embroidery thread. Choose from two available dates: Saturday, February 21st, 12-3 pm or Saturday, March 21st, 12-3pm Seats are limited. Early registration strongly encouraged. Previous hand sewing experience a plus, but not required. Recommended ages 12 and up. All materials are provided.
